What you can use today

Choose a one-, five-, ten- or fifteen-minute test, practise an original passage, and review your speed, accuracy, remaining errors and corrected errors. Your latest 20 results remain in your browser. No account is needed.

The tool supports Unicode Hindi from your device’s keyboard or input method. It does not convert legacy-font text or reproduce every exam’s keyboard and evaluation system.

How our exam guidance is prepared

Official recruiting-body notices are the primary source for exam requirements. Each guide identifies its notice year, links to the original document, records the relevant sections and states when the facts were last verified.

A page update does not automatically mean the underlying exam rules were reverified. We keep those dates separate. A guide based on an older notice stays labelled with that notice year.

If a notice changes or a claim cannot be verified, it must be checked before we present it as current. The recruiting body’s notice remains the authority for dates, eligibility, exemptions, keyboard rules and evaluation.

Practice scores, explained

We publish our scoring method, including the five-character word convention, corrected-error handling and Hindi character-counting limitations. A practice score is feedback for learning; it is not a certificate or a promise of qualifying in an exam.

Independence and funding

TypeSarthi is not affiliated with the Staff Selection Commission or another recruiting authority. The site currently has no paid practice features, advertisements or affiliate offers. Any future paid or affiliate recommendation should be clearly identified.

Privacy and measurement

Practice history stays on your device. If you allow optional Google Analytics, we measure page use and test outcomes to understand which features help visitors. We do not send your typed text. Read the privacy notice for details and controls.
